The next Australian VLab Centre of Excellence Regional Focus Group meeting is scheduled for 02UTC, 25 March 2025

Topics of discussion include:

• Using AI to predict convective hazards: presented by Scott Lindstrom, Space Science and Engineering Centre (SSEC) / University of Wisconsin Madison
• Case studies demonstrating the ProbSevere LightningCast Machine Learning Storm Prediction Tool over the South Pacific Region, with input from the 2024 BMTC Graduate Diploma of Meteorology graduate students: presented by Bodo Zeschke, Australian Bureau of Meteorology Training Centre.
