Following on from successful conferences in China, Japan and Korea, the 4th Asia-Oceania Meteorological Satellite Users Conference will be hosted by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. The conference will be held in Melbourne on 9, 10 and 11 October 2013 and will be preceded by a regional training event.
This conference is the eminent scientific event in the Asia-Pacific for those scientists working in satellite remote sensing with applications in meteorology, climatology, oceanography and related fields. The attendees will include world leaders in the field of satellite meteorology, satellite operators and leading scientists from around the world. The meeting will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre with catering for lunches and breaks for the full three days. In addition we are hosting an Ice breaker evening at the Koori Heritage Trust with catering provided by Black Olive, and an official dinner at Rivers Edge Events.
